Supervisor
Becoming a manager is a task that requires someone with a strong heart. In the past, managers were selected for their ability to manage and evaluate employees on their performance. However, three significant trends transform the definition of a manager: remote work becoming normalized, the rise of automation, and changing expectations from employees. These trends shape a new era of management where understanding how employees feel is more important than tracking their work. To succeed as a manager, empathy is essential. Leading with empathy fosters better collaboration and communication, which is crucial for our company’s growth. It opens doors to new opportunities for both the company and its employees. To become a successful traveling manager, you will not only need to lead with empathy but to also be open to the reality of relocation and lots of travel. You will be traveling across the vast country that we live in and love. This career opportunity requires a long-term commitment and focus. As a manager, you will be responsible for managing HR, personal IT, maintaining schedules and budgets, along with teaching the postal rules and regulations of the United States Post Office. We can’t teach character, but we can train and guide on everything else.
Management is another word for a great communicator. Communication is key to any successful company. As a manager, you’ll have a strong voice to provide feedback on the company’s growth, employees, finances, and possible future revenue. This will not only be beneficial to us but to you also. Making that six-day workweek that much easier and rewarding. This position offers the potential for growth and partnerships with our company. It means that if you show dedication and maintain empathy, there can be a vote to allow you to become a partner in our company, you could enjoy benefits such as stock options, bonuses, quarterly raises, and many other options.
The role of a Traveling Manager is crucial to our business, as it allows for continuous growth within the company. These managers will travel to new locations across the U.S. where we pick up new contracts, establish rapport with postmasters, run the mail route on the new contract, evaluate potential employees, hire, train, lead, and ensure they perform their jobs to our company standards. When traveling on the road, you may need to use your own vehicle if that contract doesn’t require a company asset. However, we will cover the expense of gas and potential maintenance, as well as expenses for overnight hotel stays. All of the above is dependent on the length of time you spend setting up and servicing the contract. You will also need to reach out to our employees and ensure they’re keeping up with vehicle checklists and that all records are up to date. Motivating them to stay on schedule, from Monday to Saturday, with an attitude that gets the job done right will make things easier for the mail carrier, and for you on or off the road. Does this job opportunity sound like the right job for you? Or maybe you are worried you have the heart but haven’t managed with a company before? Dont worry! We got your back. we train despite having no previous experience with delivering mail.
